Distribution rights for the film were acquired by A & A Release. Premam was made on a budget of ₹4 crore and it was a super hit at box office gross of ₹60 crore. The film has a running time of 157 minutes. Chandran and editing by Alphonse Puthren. The music was composed by Rajesh Murugesan.
